I stumbled onto this little vase in a thrift store near the Bonita Art Center. The contoured edges of the vase along with the delicately painted images caught my eye. I plan to use it in many paintings.

These small paintings are driving a change in my painting style. My hope is to eventually be able to create one of these each day. Currently, I’m able to paint five or six a week, but my teaching schedule stops me from completing one each day. I love to paint and I love to teach. If only I didn’t have to eat.
